Last weekend I was able to go home and play with my family while my manly husband went to North Idaho to get wood for the winter. Emy and Trevor with their boys and Christian, Heather and Savanah were at home too! We had a mini Thankgiving on Sunday with Grandma Cahoon and Aunt Pam. It was so fun to be at home with my family, I have the best family in the world (and the cutest niece and nephews!!)

Frazer and Amy in the big city!

Wes and I had a fun filled day and evening yesterday with our cousins, Frazer and Amy who came down from Cranbrook to go to the Temple here in Spokane. They were our first official house guests as they stayed in our "guest bedroom" ie an air mattress in a room that still isn't quite unpacked! We woke up and Wes made his amazing pancakes and bacon for breakfast and then we went to the Temple, where it was more busy than I'd ever seen it! We then went to the game store for Frazer to pick up his order of a couple huge boxes of games. Frazer and Amy were excited to be in a "big city" and wanted to try some different restaurants, so we took them to Azteca and Sushi.com, for dinner and lunch, and of course no trip is complete without a visit to Costco. We had a really good time with them and are thankful they live close enough to see more than once a year!

Amy and Frazer weren't really into taking a picture of just the two of them

Blogging Might be Hard

Well blogging might be a little hard for me, since Wes and I don't take very many pictures! I'm just going to do a little recap of what Wes and I have been up to lately. I'm still working at Holy Family, but now I work in the emergency department and the Family Maternity Center (labor and delivery and post partum care.) I still work mostly nights which sucks, but now I don't have to work every other weekend, so that's nice. I really love working with laboring patients, but sometimes I feel funny because I'm telling them what they should do when I've never had a baby! Wes is working construction/remodel. This has actually been really nice because we have a lot to do on the new house! We had a bathroom that had a pink toilet, sink and bathtub! Wes has already replaced the toilet and we are trying to decide what sink to get! We'll post a picture of the finished product. He seems to really enjoy working with his hands. With a new house came a new ward, we really like it so far, everyone is really nice and there are quite a few young couples that we can hangout with.
Random Question...Wes and I are trying to decide on a picture to blow up and put up in our living room here are a few options from Olypmia.

Our First Home!

Well Wes and I closed on a house a couple weeks ago and are still getting situated. So here's a picture of the front of the house and the awesome maple tree in the backyard. We fell in love with the backyard immediately, the house in on a double lot, so the back yard is big enough to play a little 3 on 3 soccer! The living room and kitchen are unpacked, but the rest of the house is still kind of a disaster, it's definitely a process! So there will be more pictures to come when we are more organized!

Becoming Bloggers

Since blogging is such a great way to keep in touch with friends and family Wes and I have decided to jump on the band wagon! So while Wes and Joel were watching a movie tonight Jen showed me how to set up a blog.
